Missouri State University Woods House Renovation Phase 1 and 2

Springfield, MO

The Woods House renovation project was a 10-story renovation of the building’s heating/cooling system, electrical systems and resident living spaces. Renovations included all new resident room configurations with the addition of two closet spaces and new interior finishes. New windows were added to every resident room as well as added insulation for the HVAC system to operate more efficiently. New commons areas were added to each floor with the addition of an ADA room to enhance the living environment for all students. The original schedule was 11 weeks.  Our field team completed these comprehensive upgrades within 10 weeks.

Phase 2 renovations include:

  • Replacing entry doors in all dorm rooms
  • 1st floor remodel: expanding lobby, replacing windows and constructing new apartments for administrators
  • 10th floor remodel: replacing windows, enclosing deck for meeting room and reconfiguring computer lab for game and study room
