The Nixa High School Aetos Center for the Performing Arts included a 15,000-sf interior renovation and a 35,000-sf addition next to the occupied high school.
The two-story addition includes a 1,100-seat auditorium with stage, sloped seating, set shop, storage, audio/visual control booth, fly loft, media room, concession/ticket office, lobby, restrooms, and elevator. Renovation work included converting existing spaces into a band room, choir room and new drama lab. The addition features custom precast panels, and the lobby features custom glass that displays an eagle’s wing.
